The recording feature in the JALA app not only allows you to add cultivation data but also provides the flexibility to edit or delete already saved data. This is crucial to ensure accurate aquaculture records, reflect current pond conditions, and prevent recording errors. With the edit and delete options, you can update incorrectly entered data or delete irrelevant records, ensuring the quality of your aquaculture reports. This feature is available on the JALA app mobile, allowing you to update or delete data directly from the pond you're monitoring at any time. Here's a guide to editing and deleting aquaculture data through the JALA mobile app:


How to Change and Delete Cultivation Data via Mobile

After recording, you can edit and delete the cultivation data recorded on the pond details page. The steps are as follows:


  1. Open the JALA app on your smartphone.
  2. Tap Ponds feature on the main page.
  3. Select and tap the pond for which you want to edit or delete the cultivation data.
  4. Select the desired culture data tab (Water Quality, Feed, Feeding Tray, Sampling, Treatment, Harvest, Mortality, Chemical, Plankton, Microbiology, or Disease). Example: Water Quality.
  5. Tap the Pen icon to the right of the culture data.
  6. To change data: Make your changes and then tap Save.
  7. To delete data: Tap Delete at the bottom, then tap Yes, I'm Sure to confirm.
  8. Your cultivation data has now been successfully updated or deleted.
