How to Add a Farm

In the JALA App, the farm serves as the primary platform for managing all your aquaculture activities. To use a farm, you need to add at least one pond. This allows for more structured cultivation records, water quality monitoring, and growth analysis. Creating a farm is easy, whether through the mobile app or the website, so you can choose the platform that best suits your needs. Here are the steps to follow:

Add a Farm via Mobile

To create a farm, you must have at least one pond in the farm you want to create. To create one, follow these steps:

1. Open the JALA App.
2. Tap the farm filter section.

3. Tap the Create Farm button.

4. Fill in the identity information for the farm you want to create. There are several fields marked with a red asterisk (*), these fields are mandatory and you cannot leave them blank.

5. If the information is correct, tap the Create Farm button.

6. Congratulations! Your farm has been successfully created.

Add a Farm via Website

Just like on a mobile phone, to create a pond you must have at least 1 pond in the pond you are going to create, so to create it you can follow these steps:

1. Access JALA Web and log in to https://app.jala.tech.
2. Select the + New Farm menu.
3. Complete the pond data. Several fields are marked with a red asterisk (*). These fields are mandatory and cannot be left blank. Then, click Next.

5. Click the Yes button to confirm the creation of the farm and pond.
6. The farm and pond are ready to use
