Photo Sampling

Photo Sampling is a paid feature in JALA App Plus, available exclusively on the mobile version of the JALA app. This feature makes it easy to sample shrimp without the risk of shrimp death. Simply use your phone's camera to take a picture of 10 shrimp in a container filled with clear pond water, and the results will be instantly read and saved in the app. With Photo Sampling, you can quickly and conveniently estimate the average weight (MBW) and size distribution of shrimp without manual weighing. Here are the steps to access the Photo Sampling feature.

Access the Photo Sampling Feature via Mobile

1. Open the JALA app.
2. Tap the Photo Sampling feature.

3. Select the Photo Sampling option.

4. Point the camera at the container containing the shrimp. Ensure the shrimp are clearly visible in the camera frame so the system can read the results accurately.

5. View the sampling results. After the picture is taken, the estimated weight and size of the shrimp will appear on the screen.

6. Tap the Save Results button.

7. The sampling results are automatically saved in the system and can be viewed again in the Sampling menu.
